History of Tomcat Laundromat
Buildings at 58 and 60 suddenly collapse and, incredibly, no one was injured.
The Athens County Land Bank announces that 58 and 60 High St. will be the first buildings to be removed as part of its County wide clean-up efforts.
No other users express interest, and so Capstone Properties steps forward to improve the Land Bank parcels and renovate neighboring 62 High Street into a proposed community park and laundromat, respectively.
Tomcat Laudromat hosts a grand opening with t-shirt give-aways, food, and, yes, dirty clothes in suds.
